They just don’t make ‘em like Stripes anymore: Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, John Candy, John Larroquette, Judge Reinhold, gratuitous nudity, blatant ethnic stereotyping, and a grossly unrealistic portrayal of the United States Army, this film truly has it all. Perhaps, in the long run, we are better off to live in a world of political correctness, but every once in awhile, it’s nice to revisit the gloriously irreverent comedies of the 80’s.
