13 Going On 30 / USA / 2004
I’ve been on a garbage kick lately. I’ve suddenly become sick of watching “quality” movies and so have been patronizing the video store down the block.
This movie is not going to vault into the leagues of Preston Sturges and Ernst Lubitsch, but it is funny and cute. Jennifer Garner, currently suffering through a rather tedious season of Alias, does an excellent job of portraying a 13-year-old girl in a 30-year-old woman’s body.

Garner was OK, but I’m all about Judy Greer.
