Having adored The Opposite of Sex and loathed Bounce, I was curious to see what writer-director Don Roos had cooked up this time around. Fortunately, Happy Endings looks like a return to form for the director, who seems most at home with multi-character plots and biting one-liners. I didn’t quite buy Bobby Cannavale as a Mexican massage therapist, but the rest of the cast is roundly excellent.
