Made In Britain / U.K. / 1992

A British “TV play” where the writer’s name appears more prominently than the director’s (Alan Clarke, a great British director, if you haven’t heard). An unflinching, uncompromising, even unlikeable protrayal of a teenage skinhead (a young Tim Roth, fantastically at one with his character), that is thought through cinematically – note the three-part movement (Steadicam)/statis/movement structure.
