Lethal Weapon 3 / USA / 1992

Everyone’s favourite self- flagellatin’, fag bashin’, Jew botherin’, God worshippin’, cop lecherin’, drunk driverin’ antipodean onophiliac homunculus returns to save the world by cackling and hitting people. Nothing remains of Shane Black’s original, this is cosy and lacklustre, rambling from one tedious setpiece to another. I’ll admit, I didn’t make it to the end.

Im tired of people bashing Mel Gibson all the time. He is not anti-Semitic. And whats wrong with worshiping God? The Passion was taken straight from the Bible. If you have a problem with the film then you have a problem with the Word of God. As for Lethal Weapon 3, I agree. But its still better than LW4.

I don’t even know where to start with this one. I really hope this isn’t a joke, and that I’m actually falling victim to those famously strict American laws regarding the separation of church and brain.

With regards to Mr. Gibson’s anti- semitism, have you ever heard the expression in vino veritas? The Passion was just a shot across the bows, now we’re getting the good stuff. And I note you had nothing to say regarding my characterisation of Mel as a gay basher. Please, please tell me you have an opinion there. I refer you to previous comments here.
