This new site feature is a collective effort to summarize our viewing habits. Thank You For Smoking / USA / 2005

Probably the most expertly cast film of last year, there isn’t a single performance that leaves you disappointed. Aaron Eckhart, William H. Macy, J.K. Simmons, Maria Bello, Robert Duvall, Adam Brody, Rob Lowe, and even Katie Holmes, all fit their characters perfectly. (My personal favorite is David Koechner as the gun industry’s Merchant of Death.) Had this exact film been released ten years ago, it would’ve been an incredible milestone in political-satirical filmmaking.
