The Prince of Egypt / USA / 1998
This (among other things) was a pot-luck pick. And gosh, it’s hard for me to fathom that this film required three directors for such a miserably banal production of the Moses story. Sure, the animation is stunning but the content’s dissemination felt like one long, Broadway-show-tuned music video. The Zion King! I couldn’t wait for it to end.
